Socio-Economic Development of Coastal and Foreshore Communes in Nghe An Province According to the Master Plan

On December 20, 2008, the People's Council of Nghe An Province issued Resolution 244/2008/NQ-HDND approving the master plan for socio-economic development of the coastal and marine areas of Nghe An Province until 2020.

Resolution 244/2008/NQ-HDND on the orientation for socio-economic development of coastal and sandy communes in Nghe An province according to the general planning of Nghe An province until 2020 as follows:

- Effectively implement policies to enhance accessibility and ensure the provision of essential basic social services with increasingly high quality for the poor. Ensure 100% of the poor benefit from healthcare policies, and all poor children receive educational assistance policies.- Effectively implement social welfare policies; Care for those who have contributed to the country; Care about training, vocational education, and job creation for children of policy families;- Implement comprehensive and effective poverty reduction programs; create opportunities for the poor to access support policies on credit, vocational training, job creation, agricultural extension, etc.; Enhance awareness, responsibility, and self-reliance of poor households.- Develop infrastructure, focusing on the transportation network, irrigation system, provision of drinking water, environmental sanitation, and other social infrastructure. Reorganize the economic structure, diversify occupations to improve production efficiency.- Re-plan concentrated residential points, provide support mechanisms for migration, and offer loans for housing construction in disaster-prone areas; gradually form urban residential points.
