Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued Circular 22/2014/TT-BVHTTDL stipulating certain contents regarding the management of organizing rowing, canoe, and traditional boat racing competitions in Vietnam.

The responsibilities of organizations and individuals in organizing Rowing, Canoe, and Traditional Boat racing competitions in Vietnam are stipulated as follows:
Organizations and individuals organizing Rowing, Canoe, and Traditional Boat racing competitions are responsible for reporting or seeking permission from the state management agency in charge of Culture, Sports, and Tourism according to legal regulations.
The Organizing Committee of the competition is responsible for:
- Developing an organizational plan, training, and competition program for the event.
- Coordinating with the Police, Border Guard, Waterway Management, Health agencies, and other relevant agencies to develop and implement the competition plan ensuring order and safety.
Regarding the competition results report:
Organizations and individuals organizing Rowing, Canoe, and Traditional Boat racing competitions are responsible for reporting the results to the state management agency in charge of culture, sports, and tourism according to legal regulations after the completion of the competition activities.
