Requirements on Statistical Information in the Transport Sector

On December 13, 2017, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 48/2017/TT-BGTVT stipulating the system of statistical indicators and statistical report policies for the Transport Sector.

According to Circular 48, statistical information in the transportation sector must fall within the scope and meet the following requirements:

- Statistical data within the system of report forms under the state management of agencies and units in the assigned fields and specialties. Agencies and units assigned to manage specific fields and specialties are responsible for organizing the collection and compilation of statistical information on those fields and specialties, including statistical information from subordinate units and statistical information from units under the management by delegation and by locality.- Statistical information must ensure accuracy, objectivity, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and be presented in statistical report forms.
