Request for Geological Assessment of Resource Grade 333

The details of this content are specified in Circular 03/2015/BTNMT stipulating the exploration and classification of reserves and resources of primary gold mineral resources.

According to Circular 03/2015/BTNMT, the geological evaluation for resources of Level 333 must meet the following requirements:

Geological Evaluation Requirements for Resources of Level 333, 03/2015/BTNMT

Geological evaluation requirements for resources of Level 333 (Illustration)

- Determine the basic features of the shape, structure, and distribution of original gold ore bodies;

- Provisionally determine the thickness, composition, and stability of the original gold ore bodies;

- The quality of the original gold ore is provisionally determined according to sampling results from natural outcrops, cleared works, trenches, pits, drilling, or extrapolated according to documents from adjacent areas that have been evaluated in more detail;

- Natural factors determining mining conditions do not require detailed assessment, mainly being preliminarily examined and analogized in contiguous areas that have been evaluated more extensively;

- The boundary of resources of Level 333 is delineated according to favorable geological structures for gold ore formation based on aggregating geophysical and geochemical evaluation results combined with individual excavation works. Resources of Level 333 are mainly inferred or within the controlled range of exploration works not reaching reserves of Level 122; for small scattered ore bodies, the boundary of resources of Level 333 must be determined with at least 2 works controlling the thickness and defining the content.

Feasibility evaluation on technique, technology, and economic efficiency level: It has not been determined whether the mining and processing of gold ore from this resource are economically viable or have economic potential at the time of the assessment.

Refer to the related regulation at: Circular 03/2015/BTNMT effective from April 1, 2015.
