Regulations on Inspector Uniforms of State Inspection Agencies

Circular 02/2015/TT-TTCP stipulates the attire for officials, inspectors, and public employees of state inspection agencies issued by the Government Inspector General of Vietnam on March 16, 2015.

According to Circular 02/2015/TT-TTCP, the uniforms for officers, inspectors, and public employees of state inspection agencies include: autumn-winter clothes, trench coats, long sleeve shirts, spring-summer trousers, short sleeve spring-summer shirts, long sleeve spring-summer shirts, helmets, leather belts, leather shoes, sandal shoes, socks, ties, raincoats, document bags, kepi hats, hat stars, pine branch badges, rank badges, shoulder boards, and rank insignias.

The subjects to whom the uniform regulations apply, include officers, inspectors, and public employees of state inspection agencies, classified as follows:

- Officers, inspectors, officials, and public employees of state inspection agencies who are entitled to be provided with uniforms.

- For industries and sectors requiring specific inspector uniforms, the Minister or the Head of the Ministry-level agencies managing those industries or sectors, in agreement with the Inspector General of the Government of Vietnam, will stipulate the inspector uniforms for inspectors of the respective inspection agencies.

- Uniforms for Defense inspectors and Public Security inspectors are regulated by the Minister of National Defense and the Minister of Public Security.

- For southern provinces, due to weather conditions and within the budget estimates allocated for uniforms, the heads of ministry-level and provincial-level state inspection agencies may report to their superiors to consider and decide on converting one trench coat into two spring-summer shirts.
