The Ministry of Finance issues Circular 16/2020/TT-BTC stipulating reporting policies under the state management scope of the Ministry of Finance.
The deadline for submitting reports under the state management scope of the Ministry of Finance is stipulated by Circular 16/2020/TT-BTC as follows:

Firstly, periodic reports: The deadlines specified below ensure that agencies, organizations, and individuals conducting reports have sufficient time to compile information from the closing date of the reported data according to Article 6, while simultaneously ensuring that the Ministry of Finance has adequate time to compile information, promptly submit periodic reports to the Government of Vietnam and the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam no later than the 25th of the last month of the reporting period unless otherwise prescribed by law.
- For monthly periodic reports: No later than the 18th of the reporting month.- For quarterly periodic reports: No later than the 18th of the last month of the reporting quarter.- For semi-annual periodic reports: No later than the 18th of the last month of the reporting period.- For annual periodic reports: No later than December 18th of the reporting year.- For other periodic reports: Based on the actual situation and work requirements to send reports at appropriate times, ensuring compliance.
Secondly, ad hoc reports: According to the reporting requirement document.
Thirdly, special reports: According to the reporting requirement document or proactively report based on the actual situation and work requirements.
Note: In cases where the final deadline for report submission coincides with public holidays, Tet holidays, or weekends, the report submission date will be the next working day immediately following the holiday or weekend.
