Provisions on Epaulettes and Ranks for Inspectorate Officers Not Holding Leadership or Management Positions

Circular 02/2015/TT-TTCP stipulates the attire for officials, inspectors, and public employees of state inspection agencies issued by the Inspector General of the Government of Vietnam on March 16, 2015.

Circular 02/2015/TT-TTCP specifies the epaulettes and ranks for inspectors who do not hold leadership management positions as follows:

- Senior Inspector: epaulettes length 13cm, pointed end 4cm wide, tail end 5cm wide, rank background made of red felt fabric, rank core made of pure white plastic; rank star made of bright white coated brass plates; green fabric border 3mm wide; round rank button with a star in the center of 2 pine branches, with three 23mm stars aligned vertically on three green rank lines;

- Principal Inspector: epaulettes length 13cm, pointed end 4cm wide, tail end 5cm wide, rank background made of red felt fabric, rank core made of pure white plastic; rank star made of bright white coated brass plates; green fabric border 3mm wide; round rank button with a star in the center of 2 pine branches, with two 23mm stars aligned vertically on two green rank lines;

- Inspector: epaulettes length 13cm, pointed end 4cm wide, tail end 5cm wide, rank background made of red felt fabric, rank core made of pure white plastic; rank star made of bright white coated brass plates; green fabric border 3mm wide; round rank button with a star in the center of 2 pine branches, with one 23mm star aligned vertically on one green rank line.

Additionally, the Circular also regulates the management and usage of inspectors' uniforms as follows:

- The management, issuance, and usage duration of uniforms for officials, inspectors, officials and public employees of the state inspectorate agencies are implemented according to the joint documents between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Ministry of Finance.

- Uniforms are issued to be used during official duties, holidays, and traditional days; with the responsibility to preserve and maintain them according to state regulations; the misuse of uniforms for personal gain is strictly prohibited.
