The Law on physical training and sports 2006 of Vietnam was promulgated on November 29, 2006. This Law provides for physical training and sports activities; rights and obligations of organizations and individuals involved in physical training and sports activities. There are acts strictly prohibited in physical training and sports activities specified in this document.
Specifically, according to Article 10 of the Law on physical training and sports 2006 and Clause 2 Article 1 of the Law on amendments to the Law on Physical Training and Sports 2018 of Vietnam, acts strictly prohibited in physical training and sports activities include:
First, taking advantage of physical training and sport activities to infringe upon the State's interests, nation and lawful rights and interests of organizations and individuals; harming human health, life, honor, dignity and prestige. Physical training and sport activities in contravention of social ethics, fine customs and traditions and cultural identities.
Second, using banned stimulants or applying banned methods in sports training and competition.
Third, cheating in sports activities.
Fourth, committing acts of violence in sports activities.
Fifth, obstructing lawful physical training and sports activities of organizations and individuals.
Sixth, abusing positions and powers to falsify sports competition results.
Seventh, organizing illegal sports betting or participating in illegal sports betting.
