Vietnam: Contents of state management of physical training and sports

The Law on physical training and sports 2006 of Vietnam was promulgated on November 29, 2006, consisting of 9 chapters and 79 articles. A notable content is the contents of state management of physical training and sports.

Specifically, according to Article 6 of the Law on physical training and sports 2006 of Vietnam, contents of state management of physical training and sports include:

- Elaborating, promulgating and organizing the implementation of, strategies, plannings, plans and policies on physical training and sports development and legal documents on physical training and sports.

- Organizing and directing the training of human resources for physical training and sports.

- Inspecting and assessing the development of mass physical training and sports and sports competition activities.

- Organizing and directing scientific and technological research and application in the domain of physical training and sports.

- Mobilizing, managing and using resources for physical training and sports development.

- Organizing and directing emulation and commendation work in the domain of physical training and sports.

- Organizing and directing international cooperation in sports.

- Examining, inspecting, settling complaints and denunciations and handling violations of law on physical training and sports.
