More than 300 workers in a centralized workplace must be provided with a first-aid area

This content is stipulated in Circular 19/2016/TT-BYT issued by the Ministry of Health on June 30, 2016, to provide guidance on the management of occupational health and hygiene.

According to Circular 19, it is stipulated that if more than 300 workers are concentrated on a single site, there must be an area designated for first aid and emergency care.

The first aid and emergency care area must meet the following minimum requirements:

- It must be spacious enough to accommodate a stretcher and have space for the injured worker to lie down, be ventilated, illuminated, and have signage (cross symbol);- It should be located near restrooms, easily accessible to work and production areas, and convenient for first aid, emergency care, or transportation of injured workers;- The list of equipment for the first aid and emergency care area must comply with legal regulations.
