Recently, the Ministry of National Defense issued Circular No. 49/2017/TT-BQP providing guidance on the implementation of Decision No. 10/2016/QD-TTg on the execution of electronic border procedures at seaports.

According to the provisions of Circular 49, to ensure effective administrative management, the Portal for Electronic Border Management at Seaports and the National Single Window Portal have been connected. Specifically, the mechanism for receiving, processing, forwarding, and responding to information is as follows:

- The person making the procedure submits electronic dossiers on the National Single Window Portal;- The National Single Window Portal receives the electronic dossier and forwards it to the Portal;- The Portal receives, processes information in the electronic dossier, and returns the processing result to the National Single Window Portal;- The National Single Window Portal returns the processing result of the electronic dossier from the Border Gate Guard at the port to the person making the procedure.
