Circular 120 stipulates the printing and issuance policies for customs declarations as follows:
1. Printing Regulations
- The General Department of Customs uniformly manages the printing and issuance of Customs Declarations.- Each Customs Declaration is serialized at the top right corner on pages 02 and 03.- The serial number consists of 02 out of the 26 letters (including A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z) and a series of natural numbers with 07 digits.- The serial number is printed in red ink, font size 12, in Times New Roman font. Example: AA 0000001
2. Issuance Regulations
- Customs Declarations are issued free of charge to entrants and exiters carrying passports, documents equivalent to passports with luggage, goods, foreign currency, promissory notes, checks, precious metals, and gemstones that must be declared according to Vietnamese law.- The General Department of Customs shall, based on the proposals from the provincial and municipal Departments of Customs requiring use, execute the printing and issuance as stipulated.
