the Government of Vietnam has just issued Decree 55/2017/ND-CP on the management of farming, processing, and exporting of Tra fish products. To ensure the quality of Tra fish as well as the management by state agencies over farming and exporting activities, Tra fish farming establishments must meet the following conditions:

1. Have a location and area for raising Tra fish that is consistent with the land use planning of the provincial People's Committee.

2. Have infrastructure that meets technical requirements for commercial Tra fish farming; have separate water supply and drainage systems; have waste and sludge treatment facilities that meet environmental protection and veterinary sanitation requirements.

3. Comply with regulations on conditions to ensure food safety according to legal provisions on food safety.

4. Have a Certificate of Identification Code for Tra fish farming ponds.
