Specifically, according to Article 4 of Circular 53/2012/TT-BGDDT, the email box names of educational management agencies and educational institutions generally follow the format edu.vn:

- User-name@Educational-institution.edu.vn

- User-name can be in unaccented Vietnamese or English, in full or abbreviated; unique names of individuals, or names of departments, faculties, etc. under the institution.

- Educational-institution (school-name, center-name) can include the name of the province or district in case of name duplication.

- The email box name of the Ministry of Education and Training follows the format: User-name@moet.edu.vn

- The email box name of the Department of Education and Training follows the format: User-name@province-name.edu.vn like @bacninh.edu.vn, @tpHCM.edu.vn, etc.

- The email box name of the Education and Training Office follows the format: User-name@district-name.edu.vn like @badinh.edu.vn, quynhluu.edu.vn, etc.

- The email box name of the school follows the format: User-name@school-name.edu.vn like @C3tranphu-hanoi.edu.vn or @C3tranphu.hanoi.edu.vn

- The email box name of the Education Center follows the format: User-name@center-name.edu.vn; center-name can include the name of the commune/ward, district as in @TXbadinh-hanoi.edu.vn for Ba Dinh District Continuing Education Center, Hanoi or @TXbadinh.hanoi.edu.vn

- Educational institutions can use email with the domain of the Ministry, the Department of Education and Training, or the Education and Training Office, not necessarily establishing their own email systems. For example: C3tranphu-hanoi@moet.edu.vn or C3tranphu@hanoi.edu.vn

- Email addresses with their own domains are used as a user identification factor. Do not use email addresses from social networks (such as @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @vnn.vn, etc.) in official transactions.
