This is a noteworthy content in Circular 13/2013/TT-BTNMT issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam, stipulating the technical process and economic-technical norms in detecting genetically modified organisms by qualitative and quantitative deoxyribonucleic Acid analysis methods, promulgated on March 31, 2014.
Economic-technical norms in the detection of genetically modified organisms in Vietnam (Internet image)
According to the Technical Process and Economical and Technical Norms in the detection of genetically modified organisms through qualitative and quantitative Deoxyribonucleic Acid analysis methods issued with Circular 13/2013/TT-BTNMT, the economical and technical norms in detecting genetically modified organisms through qualitative and quantitative DNA analysis methods include the following component norms:
* Regarding technological labor norms
- Technological labor norm (hereinafter referred to as labor norm) is the necessary labor time to produce a product.
- Contents of the technological labor norm include:
- Job content: Includes basic operations to perform job steps for the activity of detecting genetically modified organisms through qualitative and quantitative DNA analysis methods.
- Staff allocation: Quantity and technical rank for each job step.
- Norm: The labor time to produce the product. The unit is group labor/unit product; a workday is calculated as 8 working hours.
* Regarding material and equipment norms
- Tool norm: Is the necessary use time of tools to produce the product. The tool's lifespan is determined through statistical methods, experience; units are months.
The usage amount for small, auxiliary tools is calculated as 5% of the usage amount for the main tools that have been normed.
- Equipment norm: Is the necessary use time of equipment to produce the product. The equipment's lifespan (depreciation period) according to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance.
- Material norm: Is the necessary amount of material to produce the product. The amount of auxiliary, minor and waste material is calculated as 8% of the amount of main material that has been normed.
