Disciplinary Measures for Militia Members for Inadvertent Disclosure of Military Secrets

According to the provisions of Article 19 Circular 75/2020/TT-BQP which regulate the application of disciplinary forms, order, procedures, statute of limitations, duration, and authority for handling discipline for DQTV, the disciplinary forms applied when inadvertently disclosing secrets or losing military secret documents are as follows:

- Inadvertently disclosing secrets or losing military secret documents but not to the extent of criminal prosecution shall be disciplined by a reprimand or demotion.

- Inadvertently disclosing secrets or losing military secret documents in one of the following cases shall be disciplined by removal from post or stripping of the title of Militia and Self-defense Force:

- Has been warned, corrected but did not strictly implement;- Has been disciplined without showing improvement and continues to violate;- Causing the unit to fail to complete its mission.

Additionally, Article 30 of Circular 75/2020/TT-BQP stipulates that DQTV will be stripped of their DQTV title if they commit one of the following violations:

- Intentionally damaging military explosive weapons, support tools, equipment, or technical military vehicles but not to the extent of criminal prosecution.- Being prosecuted.- Being subjected to mandatory educational measures at an educational institution.- Illegally using narcotic substances.- Being subjected to mandatory rehabilitation measures.- Being subjected to educational measures at the commune-level.
