Adjustments to administrative boundaries for establishing communes within Dien Bien province (illustrative image)

Decree 17/ND-CP stipulates the establishment of the following communes:

Firstly, establish Nam Vi commune under Muong Nhe district by adjusting 6,237.19 hectares of natural land area and 1,951 inhabitants from Muong Nhe commune:

- Nam Vi commune has 6,237.19 hectares of natural land area and 1,951 inhabitants.

- Administrative boundaries of Nam Vi commune: East borders with Muong Toong commune, Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province and Ta Tong commune, Muong Te District, Lai Chau Province; West borders with Muong Nhe commune, Muong Nhe District; South borders with Muong Nhe and Muong Toong communes, Muong Nhe District; North borders with Chung Chai commune, Muong Nhe district.

Secondly, establish Na Co Sa commune under Muong Nhe District by adjusting 12,589.4 hectares of natural land area and 2,367 inhabitants from Quang Lam commune.

- Na Co Sa commune has 12,589.4 hectares of natural land area and 2,367 inhabitants

- Administrative boundaries of Na Co Sa commune: East borders with Pa Tan and Na Khoa communes, Muong Nhe District; West borders with Nam Ke commune, Muong Nhe District and the Lao People's Democratic Republic; South borders with Na Khoa commune, Muong Nhe District and the Lao People's Democratic Republic; North borders with Quang Lam commune, Muong Nhe District.

Thirdly, establish Pa My commune, which belongs to Muong Nhe District by adjusting 6,941.07 hectares of natural land area and 2,225 inhabitants from Nam Ke commune.

- Pa My commune has 6,941.07 hectares of natural land area and 2,225 inhabitants.

- Administrative boundaries of Pa My commune: East borders with Muong Mo commune, Muong Te District, Lai Chau Province; West borders with Nam Ke commune, Muong Nhe District; South borders with Quang Lam and Pa Tan communes, Muong Nhe District; North borders with Muong Toong commune, Muong Nhe District.

Fourthly, establish Sen Thuong commune, which belongs to Muong Nhe District by adjusting 17,448.27 hectares of natural land area and 1,987 inhabitants from Sin Thau commune.

- Sen Thuong commune has 17,448.27 hectares of natural land area and 1,987 inhabitants.

- Administrative boundaries of Sen Thuong commune: East borders with Mu Ca commune, Muong Te District, Lai Chau Province; West borders with Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe District; South borders with Leng Su Sin commune, Muong Nhe District; North borders with the People's Republic of China.

Fifthly, the establishment of Leng Su Sin commune, which belongs to Muong Nhe District by adjusting 18,105.82 hectares of natural land area and 2,011 inhabitants from Chung Chai commune.

- Leng Su Sin commune has 18,105.82 hectares of natural land area and 2,011 inhabitants.

- Administrative boundaries of Leng Su Sin commune: East borders with Chung Chai commune, Muong Nhe District, Dien Bien Province and the communes of Ta Tong and Mu Ca, Muong Te District, Lai Chau Province; West borders with Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe District and the Lao People's Democratic Republic; South borders with Chung Chai commune, Muong Nhe District; North borders with the communes of Sin Thau and Sen Thuong, Muong Nhe District.

Sixthly, establish Ta Leng commune, which belongs to Dien Bien Phu City by adjusting 1,536.29 hectares of natural land area and 2,500 inhabitants from Noong Bua Ward.

- Ta Leng commune has 1,536.29 hectares of natural land area and 2,500 inhabitants.

- Administrative boundaries of Ta Leng commune: East borders with Pu Nhi commune, Dien Bien Dong District and Muong Phang commune, Dien Bien District; West borders with Noong Bua and Him Lam Wards, Dien Bien Phu City; South borders with Nam Thanh Ward, Dien Bien Phu City and Pu Nhi commune, Dien Bien Dong District; North borders with Him Lam Ward and Thanh Minh commune, Dien Bien Phu City.
