Agencies and units directly under the Ministry of Transport organize the drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of the following tasks and solutions:
- Continue to fully, consistently and effectively implement the main viewpoints, groups of tasks assigned in Decision 1445/QD-TTg promulgating action plans to implement the Commodity Import-Export Strategy to 2030.
- Research and develop Vietnam's international shipping fleet to contribute to reducing costs and increasing the initiative for import and export activities.
- Concentrating resources to invest in works connecting important and essential national transport infrastructure, connecting regions and areas with potential for development and connecting transport modes.
- Continue to promote management reform and specialized inspection of imported and exported goods.
- Strengthen reform, reduction and simplification of administrative procedures and business regulations.
- Focus on directing and operating drastically, flexibly and effectively the goals, tasks and solutions. Clearly define the functions, tasks, responsibilities and authority of each agency and individual in the implementation. Appropriate, timely and flexible handling of newly arising problems; propose and propose appropriate and effective solutions for direction and administration.

Prioritize the development of large, modern, and pervasive infrastructure: upgrading Tan Son Nhat international airport; building Long Thanh international airport; building the North - South expressway in the East; renovating, upgrading, and strengthening the capacity of existing international intermodal stations (Dong Dang, Lao Cai, Song Than) and a number of other stations to switch to international intermodal operations; studying and preparing to invest in some important sections of the high-speed railway on the North-South axis; and connecting the railway to major seaports (Hai Phong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau), including new investment railway lines to implement investment as soon as conditions permit. |
