03 Solutions to Improve Efficiency in Seafood Processing

This is a noteworthy provision in Circular 52/2018/TT-BCT regulating energy consumption standards in the seafood processing industry, applicable to the industrial processing of catfish and shrimp product groups.

According to Circular 52, to enhance energy efficiency in the seafood processing industry, several measures can be applied as follows:

- Establish an energy management system in seafood processing facilities and implement measures to improve energy efficiency in energy management;- Implement low investment energy efficiency solutions;- Implement high investment energy efficiency solutions.

Also according to Circular 52, the State encourages seafood processing facilities to apply energy efficiency improvement solutions stipulated in Appendix II of Circular 52.
