The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has recently released a Notice on the recruitment of official type C (grade expert and equivalent) with 105 positions to work at the Central SBV and several provincial and municipal SBV branches in the Northern and Central regions.

| Conditions for Candidacy |
- Possessing Vietnamese nationality; being at least 18 years old;
- Having clear personal history, being in good health;
- Holding a university degree or higher relevant to the training specialties and graduation classification requirements according to Appendix 01 and Appendix 02 attached to the Notice (including candidates with a master's or doctoral degree);
- Holding an English language certificate equivalent to Level 2 of the Vietnam's language proficiency framework as prescribed in Circular 01/2014/TT-BGDDT or a B-level English certificate or higher;
- Being able to use one of the following certificates as a substitute: IELTS 4.5; TOEFL 450 (PBT), 133 (CBT), 45 (iBT); TOEIC 450; B1 level English certificate of the European framework;
- Holding an IT certificate that meets the standard of basic IT skills according to Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTTT or an Office IT or Level A IT certificate or higher;
- Not being under disciplinary action, not being prosecuted, serving a prison sentence, on probation, under house arrest, or undergoing educational measures at commune, ward, or commune-level town, or placed in rehabilitation centers.
Priority points are awarded for the following groups:
- Heroes of the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, war invalids, beneficiaries of policies as war invalids;
- Ethnic minorities, army officers, police officers, professional soldiers, decryption staff transferring to other sectors, martyr's children, war invalid's children, etc.;
- People who have completed their military service, etc.

- Application form for civil service recruitment;
- Curriculum vitae with photo and seal, certified by an authority within 30 days counting to the submission date;
- Copy of birth certificate;
- Copies of diplomas, certificates; Academic transcript;
- Health certificate from a district-level or higher hospital or health center issued within 30 days counting to the submission date;
- Certificate of belonging to a priority group in civil service recruitment (if any) duly certified by a competent authority;
- 02 color photos sized 4x6;
- 02 envelopes with stamps, clearly stating the full name, address, and phone number.

From August 22, 2017 to September 20, 2017
- Candidates registered for the Central Bank should submit their documents at the General Office - Personnel Department. Address: Room 410, Building K - 16 Tong Dan - Hoan Kiem - Hanoi;
- Candidates registered for the provincial/city branches of the Central Bank should submit their documents at the Central Bank branch office in the province/city where they are registered.
