Prohibited Acts in Urban Planning
Based on Article 16 of the Urban Planning Law 2009, the following prohibited acts are outlined:
- Failure to fulfill the responsibility to organize urban planning.
- Selecting an advisory organization to conduct urban planning that does not meet competency requirements.
- Conducting, appraising, approving, and adjusting urban planning in a manner that does not conform to this Law.
- Illegally interfering in urban planning activities.
- Refusing to provide information, except in cases where the information is classified as state secrets; providing false information about urban planning.
- Deliberately violating approved urban planning.
- Destroying urban space, architecture, and landscape.
- Incorrectly placing boundary markers; destroying or altering urban planning boundary markers.
- Obstructing or causing difficulties in the formulation and implementation of urban planning.
