Vietnam: Forms of public announcement on traffic theme

Clause 1, Clause 2, Article 14 of Circular 65/2020/TT-BCA stipulates the public announcement of the patrol and control plans in Vietnam as follows:

"1. The Head of the Department of Road Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance, the Head of the Traffic Police Department, and the Chief of Police authority of the district in Vietnam are responsible for publicly announcing patrol and control plans under the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security on the implementation of democracy in ensuring traffic order and safety, including:

a) The plan for comprehensive control of road traffic vehicles;

b) The plan for patrol, control, and thematic violation handling in traffic;

c) The plan for regular patrol, control, and violation handling on the assigned routes and areas.

2. Forms of public announcement

a) Posting at the citizen reception office of the unit;

b) Posting on the electronic information page of the Traffic Police Department or the electronic information portal of the provincial police, Traffic Police Department;

c) Announcing on mass media;

d) Applying other forms of public announcement as prescribed by law."

Thus, the traffic theme is publicly announced in the following forms:

- Posting at the citizen reception office of the unit;

- Posting on the electronic information page of the Traffic Police Department or the electronic information portal of the provincial police, Traffic Police Department;

- Announcing on mass media;

- Applying other forms of public announcement as prescribed by law.
