Return of Goods on the Highway: How Long Will the Driver's License Be Held?
According to Clause 6 and Point b Clause 9 Article 24 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP which stipulates penalties for operators of cargo trucks, tractors (including trailers or semi-trailers) and similar vehicles transporting goods who violate road transport regulations, the following:
- A fine ranging from VND 5,000,000 to VND 7,000,000 shall be imposed for one of the following violations:
+ Receiving or delivering goods on the highway;
+ Operating a vehicle without or failing to attach a required badge (for vehicles required to have a badge) or using an expired badge or a badge not issued by the competent authority.
Thus, in cases where cargo trucks deliver goods on the highway, a fine ranging from VND 5,000,000 to VND 7,000,000 will be imposed. Additionally, the operator committing the aforementioned violations will also have their driver’s license suspended for a period ranging from 2 months to 4 months.
Respectfully!
