Do Retail Gasoline Employees Need a Gasoline Professional Certificate?

Clause 4, Article 24 of Decree 83/2014/ND-CP stipulates the conditions for retail gasoline stations, including:

Management staff and direct business employees must be trained, coached, and possess training and coaching certificates in fire prevention, firefighting, and environmental protection in accordance with current legal regulations.

Retail gasoline employees must have training and coaching certificates in fire prevention, firefighting, and environmental protection, but are not required to have petroleum profession certificates.

Furthermore, Decree 99/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions in the field of petroleum business, gasoline, and gas trading does not stipulate any penalties for retail gasoline employees who do not possess petroleum profession certificates.

=> Thus, retail gasoline employees do not need to have petroleum profession certificates.
