Under what circumstances is an environmental permit reissued?

According to Clause 1, Article 44 of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 (Effective from January 1, 2022), the regulations on reissuing environmental permits are as follows:

The environmental permit shall be reissued in cases specified in Clause 5, Article 42 of this Law without altering other contents stipulated in the permit.

Referring to the provisions of Clause 5, Article 42 of this Law, in cases where there is a change in the name of the investment project, facility, concentrated production, business and service area, industrial cluster or the project owner, the investment project, or the facility owner, they are responsible for continuing to implement the environmental permit and notifying the permit-issuing authority to be reissued the permit.

Thus, only when falling under the aforementioned cases will the environmental permit be reissued.
