The Cover Page and Explanation Notes of the Oceanographic Observation Logbook Must Be Written in What Color Pen?
Article 5 of Circular No. 08/2020/TT-BTNMT (Effective from October 26, 2020) Prescribing the Recording and Preliminary Correction of Observation Data as follows:
- Observation results are recorded in the observation logbook with a black pencil and data is entered into the software as prescribed.
- The cover page and explanation of the observation logbook must be written with black ink or dark blue ink; must not be dirty, wrinkled, or torn.
- After the observation time at 7 PM daily, the observer must record and enter the data from the observation logbook into the report.
- For stations with automatic water-level recording equipment, the charts must be cut, converted and the data entered into the report.
- Correct the readings on measuring equipment, check, calculate, preliminarily correct the results, and select characteristic values.
According to this regulation, the cover page and explanation of the observation logbook must be written with black ink or dark blue ink.
