Regulations on the Electricity Price Adjustment Coefficient by Distance
The distance-based electricity price adjustment coefficient is stipulated in Article 7 of Circular 23/2020/TT-BCT. To be specific:
- The distance-based adjustment coefficient (k) is determined according to the distance from the office of the unit directly performing the power cut and supply to the location where the power cut and supply is executed.
- For customers using electricity for residential purposes, the distance-based adjustment coefficient k = 1, regardless of the distance from the office of the unit directly performing the power cut and supply to the location where the power cut and supply is executed.
- For customers purchasing electricity for non-residential purposes and the organizations or individuals requesting the power cut, the distance-based adjustment coefficient is applied as follows:
+ Up to 05 km: Coefficient k = 1;
+ Over 05 km up to 10 km: Coefficient k = 1.14;
+ Over 10 km up to 20 km: Coefficient k = 1.28;
+ Over 20 km up to 30 km: Coefficient k = 1.42;
+ Over 30 km up to 50 km: Coefficient k = 1.56;
+ Over 50 km: Coefficient k = 1.70.
Respectfully.
