Radiation Work under Decree 142 – What Are They?
According to Clause 2, Article 1 of Decree 142/2020/ND-CP (Effective from February 01, 2021), the radiation-related activities stipulated in this Decree include:
- The use of radioactive sources;
- The production and processing of radioactive substances;
- The temporary storage of radioactive sources and the treatment and storage of radioactive waste, used radioactive sources;
- The use of radiation equipment, operation of irradiation equipment;
- The construction of radiation facilities;
- The termination of activities of radiation facilities;
- The export of radioactive sources, source nuclear materials, nuclear materials, nuclear devices;
- The import of radioactive sources, source nuclear materials, nuclear materials, nuclear devices;
- The packaging, transportation, and transshipment of radioactive sources, source nuclear materials, nuclear materials.
