Principles for Implementing Natural Disaster Remediation are Regulated How?
Based on Article 14 of Decree 66/2021/ND-CP, which stipulates the principles for disaster recovery, as follows:
Proactively utilize available resources to mitigate the consequences of natural disasters. In cases exceeding the balancing capabilities of ministries, central authorities, and local authorities, a report and proposal should be submitted to the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control for aggregation and consideration to present to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam for support decisions.
Ensure promptness, efficiency, publicity, transparency, and correct targeting.
Prioritize support for citizens' welfare, restore production and urgently repair disaster prevention and essential construction works.
Restore, repair, and reconstruct in a more sustainable manner.
