Method for Inspecting Environmental Protection Activities in the Police Forces
The methods of environmental protection inspections in the Police are stipulated in Article 7 of Circular 69/2020/TT-BCA. To be specific:
- Direct inspection: Based on the requirements and tasks, the head of the Police units and localities shall review and decide on direct inspections of environmental protection work. The inspection team shall conduct direct inspections and listen to the detailed reports from the subjects being inspected about the issues related to the inspection content as well as their recommendations and proposals. Members of the inspection team, based on specific content, shall request the subjects to provide dossiers, documents, and further explanations. Based on the results of the work, the inspection team shall exchange and guide the subjects to overcome any existing problems and challenges in environmental protection work or propose to higher authorities for guidance and direction.
- Indirect inspection: Based on the requirements and tasks, the head of the Police units and localities shall authorize the subjects to self-inspect according to the approved plan, report the inspection results in writing, and provide dossiers and evidentiary materials to the competent heads of the Police units and localities for inspection.
- Depending on the specific tasks, an inspection can be carried out using one or a combination of both aforementioned methods.
Sincerely.
