Guidance on Procedures for Registration of Environmental Protection Plans

Based on the provisions at Serial Number 53 - Column 5 Appendix II Section I issued together with Decree 40/2019/ND-CP, the following applies:

An investment project for constructing a wood production facility with a total area of warehouse, yard, and factory under 10,000 m2 is required to register an environmental protection plan.

According to this provision, your wood production facility with a scale of 5,000 m2 falls under the category that must register an environmental protection plan.

Regarding procedures, you should follow the steps stipulated in Clause 12 Article 1 of Decree 40/2019/ND-CP. Specifically:

The registration dossier includes:

- 01 written request for registration of the project's environmental protection plan, following Form No. 01 Appendix VII Section I issued together with Decree 40/2019/ND-CP;

- 03 copies of the project's environmental protection plan (including an electronic version) following Form No. 02 Appendix VII Section I issued together with Decree 40/2019/ND-CP;

- 01 feasibility study report on the construction investment or technical-economic construction investment report of the project (including an electronic version).

Submission method: Submit directly, via postal mail, or send an electronic copy through the online public service system.

Resolving agency: District-level People's Committee.
