Firefighting and Rescue Duty of the Police Force: Regulations and Guidelines
On-duty fire fighting and rescue operations of the police force are stipulated in Article 7, Circular 139/2020/TT-BCA, specifically:
Officers and soldiers are arranged into on-duty teams corresponding to basic fire fighting and rescue formations to operate and use fire fighting and rescue equipment brought into on-duty positions, specifically:
- For fire trucks, rescue vehicles: Each vehicle is arranged with one team (consisting of one Team Leader, four soldiers, and one driver).
- For fire fighting boats: Each boat is arranged with one team (consisting of one Team Leader, seven soldiers, and one boat operator).
- For fire fighting canoes, rescue canoes: Each canoe is arranged with one team (consisting of one Team Leader, five soldiers, and one canoe driver).
- For fire fighting dinghies, rescue dinghies: Each dinghy is arranged with one team (consisting of one Team Leader, three soldiers, and one dinghy driver).
- For other motorized fire fighting and rescue equipment, based on the function of the equipment and the manufacturer's design: Each piece of equipment is arranged with one team (consisting of one Team Leader, one equipment operator, and the number of soldiers according to the manufacturer's design).
