Fire Prevention and Fighting Equipment
What do fire prevention and fighting means of equipment include? Requirements for domestic or imported fire prevention and fighting means of equipment?
According to Article 37 of Decree 136/2020/ND-CP (Effective from January 10, 2021), the content is regulated as follows:
- Fire prevention and fighting equipment includes motor vehicles, devices, machinery, tools, chemicals, and specialized supporting tools for fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue of people, and saving assets as stipulated in Appendix VI issued with this Decree.
- Motorized fire fighting equipment of the Fire and Rescue Police force is stipulated in section 1, Appendix VI issued with this Decree.
- Fire prevention and fighting equipment produced domestically or imported must meet the following requirements:
+ Ensure technical specifications as per the design serving fire prevention and fire fighting;
+ Comply with Vietnam's standards, foreign standards, or international standards that are permitted to be applied in Vietnam.
