Expenditure Content for Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Activities
According to Article 15 of Circular 25/2019/TT-BNNPTNT regulating the content of expenditures for forest fire prevention and firefighting activities, it includes:
- Activities for propaganda, training, coaching, rehearsal, and inspection of forest fire prevention and firefighting work;
- Construction, maintenance, upgrading, and renovation of firebreak roads, fire watch towers, observation stations, forest fire forecasting; canals, bridges, culverts, tanks, water reservoirs, dams, lakes, and water pipes serving forest fire prevention and firefighting;
- Procurement of materials, equipment, means; monitoring devices, forest fire risk warning;
- Fuels and materials; repair, and compensation for damage to means and equipment mobilized to fight forest fires;
- Information and communication work; travel expenses; conferences; summary, and reward for units and individuals with achievements in forest fire prevention and firefighting work;
- Overtime activities as prescribed by law;
- Expenses for individuals participating in forest fire fighting;
- Additional meals, and allowances for forces participating in forest fire fighting;
- Emergency medical treatment for victims, ensuring medical care for forces participating in forest fire fighting;
- Hiring means and repair costs of means (if damaged due to objective reasons) mobilized to participate in forest fire fighting as ordered by competent state agencies;
- Payment to organizations, individuals, and owners of means participating in firefighting that have suffered risks due to forest fires;
- Application of science and technology in forest fire prevention and firefighting;
- Maintaining regular activities of the public forest protection teams; disseminating and educating the law on forest protection; hiring labor for forest protection, forest fire prevention, and firefighting as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 3 of Decision No. 07/2012/QD-TTg dated February 8, 2012 of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam on the issuance of some policies to enhance forest protection work (hereinafter referred to as Decision No. 07/2012/QD-TTg);
- Other expenses for forest fire prevention and firefighting activities are implemented according to the provisions of the law.
