Do Drivers of 35-Seater Buses Need Fire Prevention and Fighting Training?
Point b Clause 4 Article 8 of Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP stipulates safety conditions for fire prevention and fighting for motor vehicles as follows:
Conditions for drivers and personnel working on vehicles transporting passengers and dangerous goods prone to fire and explosion:
Drivers and personnel working on motor vehicles transporting more than 29 passengers and motor vehicles transporting dangerous goods prone to fire and explosion must undergo training and professional development in fire prevention and fighting as stipulated in Article 33 of this Decree.
According to this regulation, if you are the driver of a 35-seat passenger vehicle, you must receive training and professional development in fire prevention and fighting.
To be specific: the content of the training and professional development in fire prevention and fighting is stipulated in Clause 2 Article 35 of Decree No. 136 and includes:
- Legal knowledge, knowledge about fire prevention and fighting appropriate to each subject;
- Methods to propagate and build a movement for the entire population to participate in fire prevention and fighting;
- Fire prevention measures; methods, tactics, and techniques for fighting fires;
- Methods to develop and practice fire fighting plans;
- Methods to preserve and use fire prevention and fighting equipment;
- Methods to inspect safety in fire prevention and fighting.
