Assistance for Housing Damaged by Natural Disasters: Regulations and Provisions

Based on Clause 3, Article 18 of Decree 66/2021/ND-CP which stipulates support for housing damage caused by natural disasters as follows:

The beneficiaries of the support include individuals and households whose housing has been damaged due to natural disasters as per regulations on social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries;

The level of support, support mechanisms, procedures, and support implementation are in accordance with the regulations on social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries; in cases where natural disasters cause significant damage to housing, the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control shall take the lead, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, to report to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam for consideration and decision.
