Clause 4, Article 4 of the 2007 Chemical Law stipulates hazardous chemicals as follows:
Hazardous chemicals are chemicals that exhibit one or more of the following hazardous properties according to the classification principles of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals:
- Explosive;- Strongly oxidizing;- Strongly corrosive;- Highly flammable;- Acute toxic;- Chronic toxic;- Irritating to humans;- Carcinogenic or potentially carcinogenic;- Genotoxic;- Reproductive toxicity;- Bioaccumulative;- Persistent organic pollutants;- Environmentally hazardous.
Thus, highly flammable chemicals are considered hazardous chemicals.
