Archive Storage, Equipment for Preserving Archived Environmental Resources and Documents
Equipment and Means of the Archives, Environmental Resources Archives Preservation Equipment
Based on Clause 1, Article 14 of the technical specifications and economic-technical norms concerning the receipt, archiving, preservation, and provision of environmental resources information and data as stipulated in Circular 03/2022/TT-BTNMT (effective from April 15, 2022) providing the following regulations:
The environmental resources archives must be fully equipped with the necessary devices and means to ensure the requirements and technical specifications prescribed in Circular No. 09/2007/TT-BNV of the Ministry of Home Affairs dated November 26, 2007, which provides guidelines for specialized archives.
Archives Preservation Equipment of the Archives, Environmental Resources Archives Preservation Equipment
Based on Clause 2 of this Article, the archives preservation equipment of the archives, environmental resources archives preservation equipment includes:
a) Shelving and specialized cabinets in the archives suitable for the quantity, type, and size of documents, meeting the material, appearance, structure, and load-bearing requirements as per the TCVN 9253:2012 standard regarding Archives Preservation Shelving;
b) Covers, boxes (folders) for preserving records and documents must meet the technical requirements according to the TCVN 9251:2012 standard on Archival File Covers and the TCVN 9252:2012 standard on Archives Preservation Boxes;
c) Electronic document storage and preservation equipment.
Other Equipment Systems
Based on Clause 3 of this Article, the use of the following recommended equipment systems in the archives, environmental resources archives preservation equipment includes:
a) Automatic protection and preservation systems including surveillance camera systems, anti-intrusion alarm systems; automatic fire detection and extinguishing systems; intelligent light, temperature, and humidity adjustment systems;
b) Barcode/QR code/electronic systems to automate the document management and exploitation process.
