Consideration for promotion teachers from class II to class I from January 15, 2022 in Vietnam

On November 30, 2021, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam has just promulgated Circular 34/2021/TT-BGDĐT stipulating standards, conditions for examination or consideration for promotion; the content, form and determination of the successful candidates in the consideration for promotion to the professional title of a public preschool and high school teacher.

According to this Circular, the content and form of consideration for promotion of job title (CDNN) of grade II teachers to class I are prescribed as follows:

- Consideration for promotion of a CDNN from a Grade II teacher to a Grade I teacher is done through the review and grading of applications for promotion consideration and examination according to the regulations on job title standards for grade I teachers of each educational level;

- Grade II teachers who are considered for promotion to Grade I teachers may participate in examinations and tests when their profile scores reach 100 points;

- The examination and examination shall be conducted in the form of multiple-choice or interview (The examination shall be conducted through the form of survey or interview):

+ For the form of multiple-choice test: The time to conduct the multiple-choice test is 60 minutes (Just writing or multiple-choice and the duration of the test should not exceed 45 minutes);

+ For the form of interview: The time to conduct the interview does not exceed 15 minutes for each participant.

Circular 34/2021/TT-BGDDT of Vietnam takes effect from January 15, 2022.
