Based on Clause 2, Article 5 of Decree 110/2020/ND-CP, the prize money for students winning awards in the Asian Olympiad is stipulated as follows:
Prize Money Levels
- Students who win awards in international Olympiads in various subjects, international technical science research competitions, or world skills competitions are rewarded as follows:
a) Gold Medal or first prize: 55 million VND;
b) Silver Medal or second prize: 35 million VND;
c) Bronze Medal or third prize: 25 million VND;
d) Encouragement award: 10 million VND.
2. Students winning awards in the Asian Olympiads in various subjects or Asian skills competitions are rewarded as follows:
a) Gold Medal: 35 million VND;
b) Silver Medal: 25 million VND;
c) Bronze Medal: 10 million VND;
d) Encouragement award: 8 million VND.

Based on Clause 6, Article 5 of Decree 110/2020/ND-CP:
Prize Money Levels

- Students winning awards in national competitions as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 2 of this Decree are rewarded as follows:
a) First prize: 4 million VND;
b) Second prize: 2 million VND;
c) Third prize: 1 million VND.
- Teams or groups of students winning awards in competitions stipulated in Article 2 of this Decree are rewarded at double the amounts set for individuals stated in Clauses 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this Article.
6. Ethnic minority students or students with disabilities winning awards in competitions stipulated in Article 2 of this Decree receive 1.5 times the prize money amount stated in Clauses 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of this Article. In cases where students are both ethnic minorities and have disabilities and win awards in competitions stipulated in Article 2 of this Decree, they receive 2 times the prize money amount stated in Clauses 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of this Article.
- Students receive the prize money as stipulated in this Decree and the prize money stipulated in Decree No. 91/2017/ND-CP.
Ethnic minority students winning awards in the Asian Olympiad will receive 1.5 times the amount of prize money compared to regular students.
The prize money for ethnic minority students winning awards in the Asian Olympiad is as follows:
- Students winning a Gold Medal: 35 million VND x 1.5 = 52,500,000 VND;
- Students winning a Silver Medal: 25 million VND x 1.5 = 37,500,000 VND;
- Students winning a Bronze Medal: 10 million VND x 1.5 = 15,000,000 VND;
- Students winning an encouragement award: 8 million VND x 1.5 = 12,000,000 VND.

- Awarding a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training or the Minister of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs to students achieving one of the following accomplishments:
a) Winning a Bronze Medal in the Asian Olympiad in various subjects;
b) Winning a Silver or a Bronze Medal in the Southeast Asian skills competition;
c) Winning an encouragement award, a fourth prize, excellent skills certificate, or an honorary diploma (collectively referred to as encouragement awards) in international competitions stipulated in Clause 2, Article 2 of this Decree;
d) Winning first, second, or third prize in national competitions as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 2 of this Decree.
- Students who achieve multiple accomplishments in a year will be considered for the highest state-level commendation form as stipulated in Clauses 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this Article.
Thus, students winning a Bronze Medal in the Asian Olympiad in various subjects will receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training.

Based on Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree 110/2020/ND-CP:
Funding Source for Rewards
- The reward funding stipulated in Article 5 of this Decree is covered by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs from the state budget.
- Organizations and individuals are encouraged to use other lawful funds to reward students winning awards in national and international competitions.
Thus, the prize money for students winning awards in the Asian Olympiad is paid from the state budget.
