2. Probationary individuals are entitled to 100% of the salary and allowances of the corresponding professional title at the training level specified in Clause 1 of this Article in the following cases:

c) Completing military duty; police service duty; being officers of the military, police officers, professional soldiers returning to civilian life, key cipher workers switching careers, graduates from reserve officer training, graduates from local military command training awarded reserve officer ranks registered as reserve officers, volunteer youth members, young intellectual volunteers participating in rural and mountainous development for 24 months or more who have completed their tasks.

3. The probationary period is not included in the time for salary grade advancement consideration.

4. The probationary instructor is entitled to a responsibility allowance coefficient of 0.3 statutory pay rate during the probation period.

5. During the probation period, both the probationary instructor and the probationary individual are also entitled to bonuses and other welfare benefits (if any) as prescribed by the State and the regulations of the public service provider.

Based on Article 24 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP, the appointment to professional titles for probationary individuals after the probation period is as follows:

Appointment to Professional Titles for Probationary Individuals After the Probation Period

1. At the end of the probation period, the probationary individual must report the results of their probation in writing according to the contents specified in Clause 3, Article 21 of this Decree; the probationary instructor is responsible for reviewing and evaluating the probation results of the probationary individual in writing. These documents are sent to the head of the public service provider.

2. No later than 5 working days from the date of receiving the probationary individual's report and the instructor's review and evaluation, the head of the public service provider evaluates the political qualities, ethics, and job performance of the probationary individual. If the probationary individual meets the requirements, the head of the public service provider decides according to their authority or submits a written request to the competent authority managing the public service provider to decide on the appointment of the professional title and salary arrangement for the recruited public employee.

Thus, probationary teachers are appointed to professional titles after the probation period when:

- The probationary teacher submits a written report on the probation results;

- The head of the public service provider evaluates the political qualities, ethics, and job performance of the probationary teacher.
