The story "Sự tích cây vú sữa" is an emotional tale for me every time I recall it. Through this story, we see a lesson about filial piety in the family. The image of the mother wholeheartedly forgiving and loving her son is deeply imprinted in my mind. A mother's love is always a noble and sacred emotion, and also an eternal inspiration for literature. The story conveys to us, as children, to be more filial and loving towards our parents.

The story "Bàn tay của mẹ" is one of the stories about love that moves me the most. The story tells of a boy who doesn't like his mother's calloused, rough hands. Upon achieving prosperity, he did not harbor resentment but instead sent watermelons to the court to express gratitude to the king. The story teaches me that gratitude is not only expressed through words but also through actions and a persistent, strong way of living.

In the treasure trove of Vietnamese folktales, the story "Sự tích bông hoa cúc trắng" is my favorite. This story beautifully depicts the sacred and invaluable mother-child bond. Usually, when discussing maternal love, people refer to the boundless sacrifices of a mother for her children. However, in this story, the love is illustrated through the child's perspective. Because of her love and care for her mother, the little girl braves difficulties and dangers to search for the white flower. Because of her longing for her mother to live long, she finds every way to make the flower have more petals. Her wholehearted sacrifice for her mother makes me admire and deeply touch. Moreover, as a child myself, I understand and agree with her thoughts and actions. I also love and am grateful to my mother greatly, thus, I comprehend the anxiety when she is ill and the determination to save her. This is what makes me particularly love the story "Sự tích bông hoa cúc trắng."

"Sọ Dừa"

The story "Sọ Dừa" is one of my favorite folktales because it praises love and gratitude. Despite being born with an unusual appearance, So Dua is always filial to his mother, working hard to repay her nurturing. When he becomes a magistrate, So Dua does not forget his mother and brings her to live a comfortable and easy life. The story helps me understand that familial affection is the most sacred, and we must always be grateful and loving to those who raised us.
