In 2025, the Vietnam People's Public Security force Academy of Vietnam will recruit candidates from the Northern region: from Thua Thien Hue province and beyond, including 4 specific regions:

- Region 8 North: On-duty conscripts stationed from Thua Thien Hue province and beyond from units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

Students from the Cultural School register to take the exam and participate in the admission process along with candidates in the region assigned by the local police to the Cultural School.

In 2025, the Vietnam People's Public Security force Academy of Vietnam enrolls 530 targets in the training of the police operations group (Male: 477; Female: 53); according to each enrollment method, geographic area, and gender. To be specific:

What are the health requirements for enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools?

Under the regulations in Article 4 Circular 62/2023/TT-BCA, the health requirements for enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools in 2025 are:

General requirements

Citizens participating in enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security force, conscripts who have completed the service term in the Vietnam People's Public Security force considered for transfer to professional service policies must meet the health conditions by satisfying the following standards:

(1) Have health classification Type 1 (one), Type 2 (two);

(2) Height from 1m64 to 1m95 for males, from 1m58 to 1m80 for females, except for specific cases where height standards are reduced as stipulated in Clause 2, Clause 3 of this Article;

(3) Vision without glasses in each eye not lower than 09-10/10, total vision in both eyes not lower than 18/10. If suffering from refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness): each eye not exceeding 03 (three) diopters; if astigmatism: physiological astigmatism or each eye less than 01 (one) diopter. Vision in one eye through glasses at least 09/10, total vision in both eyes through glasses at least 19/10 (commitment required to meet vision standards if admitted for new enrollment, admission in the Vietnam People's Public Security force, and transition to professional service policies), except as specified in Point b, Clause 3, Article 4 Circular 62/2023/TT-BCA;

(4) Meet the following specific indexes;

- Not addicted to drugs or precursors as stipulated in Decree 57/2022/ND-CP;

- Normal hair color and type (under the Police Code);

- No skin pigmentation disorders, except for localized cheek pigmentation (melasma);

- No piercings on the nose and other body parts for jewelry. For males, no ear piercings or healed ear piercings; for females, no more than 02 piercings on one ear or only 01 ear piercing, other piercings healed;

- No protruding scars on the head, face, neck, forearms, hands, and feet;

- No tattoos, tattoo sprays, including tattooed eyebrows and lip aesthetics for females.

Specific health requirements

Citizens applying for new enrollment in the Vietnam People's Public Security force must meet the specific health standards as follows:

(1) Citizens applying to police schools as conscripts serving in the Vietnam People's Public Security force: Height is based on the standard at the time of conscript admission to the Vietnam People's Public Security force;

(2) Citizens applying to police schools as ethnic minorities: Height from 1m62 to 1m95 for men, from 1m56 to 1m80 for women. Citizens belonging to priority policy group 01 UT1 in Appendix II Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT dated June 6, 2022, of the Minister of Education and Training stipulating the regulation on university and preschool education enrollment: Height from 1m60 to 1m95 for men, 1m55 to 1m80 for women;

- Citizens applying to police schools who are Vietnamese citizens graduating with a university degree or higher from domestic or abroad universities: Those graduating in natural sciences, engineering, computer science, information technology can apply health standards of height from 1m62 to 1m95 for men, 1m56 to 1m80 for women;

- Citizens applying for cultural education at the high school level who are direct admission and admission subjects: Height from 1m55 for men, from 1m50 for women;

- Citizens having multiple preferences in terms of subjects are only entitled to the highest preference.

What are the rules for enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools?

Under Article 2 of Circular 15/2016/TT-BCA, the rules for enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools are:

- Enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools must follow the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Public Security; requirements for work, combat, and force building of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force.

- Enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools must link staff planning with training planning to meet the competency requirements according to the professional title standards of each officer currently or will take on after graduation.

- Enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools must ensure quality and quantity; implement democracy, fairness, openness, and transparency.

- Enrollment into the Vietnam People's Public Security schools is conducted based on a combination of checking political standards, ethical qualities, academic ability, health, and talents of the candidates according to specific regulations of the Ministry of Public Security with the recruitment results, nomination, and selection according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
