Humans and Nature

Hello teachers and classmates! I am ..., a student of class ... Today, I would like to share my thoughts on the close relationship between humans and nature.

Nature surrounds us from forests, rivers, seas to majestic mountains. Nature not only brings beauty to life but also directly influences the existence and development of humans.

Firstly, forests are considered the “green lungs” of the Earth. They provide oxygen, regulate the climate, protect the land, and reduce natural disasters. Furthermore, forests offer economic value through forest products, timber, and medicinal herbs. However, humans exploit forests indiscriminately, leading to serious environmental destruction.

Besides forests, rivers and seas play vital roles. The sea provides salt and seafood, serving as a livelihood for countless fishermen. Poet Huy Can once wrote:

"The sea gives us fish like a mother's heart,

Nurture us from time immemorial."

Not only a resource, the sea and rivers contribute to ecological balance and create stunning landscapes.

Additionally, land is an extremely valuable resource. It aids in farming, cultivation, livestock raising, and building houses. Underground, it contains many minerals like gold, silver, oil, and coal ... contributing to economic development.

Nature not only provides resources but also creates world wonders like the Amazon rainforest, Niagara Falls, and Ha Long Bay, enriching human life.

Yet, instead of cherishing nature, humans are destroying it. Forests are being deforested, water sources are polluted, and the air is becoming toxic due to industrial emissions. Without protective measures, natural resources will gradually deplete, leading to grave consequences such as climate change, natural disasters, and pandemics.

Therefore, we need to be conscious of environmental protection and resource extraction reasonably. Let's join hands to plant trees, save water, reduce plastic waste, and use green energy to keep nature vibrant.

These are my views on the relationship between humans and nature. I look forward to receiving feedback from teachers and classmates. Thank you!
Environmental Pollution

In our current era, the issue of environmental pollution is becoming increasingly severe and alarming. We can easily witness images of environmental pollution right where we live, compelling us to reflect on the current situation. Particularly, the process of wastewater treatment is a very prominent issue in society.

One of the leading causes of this situation is urban planning that does not adequately consider waste water management. This results in pollution in major cities, industrial zones, and especially urban areas reaching alarming levels.

According to statistics, among the total of 183 industrial zones nationwide, up to 60% still lack a centralized wastewater treatment system. Urban areas only collect about 60-70% of solid waste, and wastewater treatment infrastructure remains poor, failing to meet environmental protection standards. Many places continue to discharge directly into natural water sources like rivers, ponds, and lakes.

The clearest example of the consequences of discharge is the Vam Co Dong River being contaminated with chemical products from a factory for 14 years. Pollution has affected the local residents' lives. Similarly, the pollution of Hoan Kiem Lake, a national cultural symbol, is another typical example.

The main cause of this pollution is the lack of awareness from many citizens, especially the youth. They often disregard environmental protection, littering casually after using products, or discharging waste irresponsibly, thinking it is the government's responsibility. While each individual action seems minor, combined, they can significantly harm the general environment.

Another important factor is the lack of responsibility from businesses, where profit is often prioritized. Some businesses violate environmental regulations, causing pollution. Environmental protection management and supervision are not strictly implemented, enabling increasing environmental destruction.

The consequences of this pollution not only harm citizens' health but also spread to biological resources and the marine environment. This threatens the existence of coral reefs and brackish water areas near river mouths. The stench and pollution make daily life difficult for residents. In the future, the issue of water scarcity may become even more severe due to the rising pollution of water sources.

To address this situation, specific measures need to be carried out. First, authorities need to provide treated clean water to affected areas. Simultaneously, building and managing wastewater treatment systems in urban and industrial zones need to be executed strictly and effectively.

Moreover, enhancing education and encouraging community involvement in environmental protection activities are crucial. We need media channels to raise awareness of the importance of environmental protection. Detailed environmental information should be included in textbooks from primary levels to educate students on this issue.

Finally, organizing volunteer activities like environmental cleanup in communities and beaches is an effective way for us to collectively protect the environment. As the environmental situation becomes increasingly critical, immediate action is essential if we are to live in a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful environment.

Protecting clean water resources is the responsibility of all humanity. Water is an incredibly important factor, crucial to the survival of all life on Earth. Each of us must resolutely join hands to protect clean water resources.
Plastic Waste Issue

Hello teachers and classmates! I am ..., a student of class ... Today, I would like to share my thoughts on the issue of plastic waste and human responsibility in protecting the environment.

Currently, environmental pollution due to plastic waste has become a pressing global issue. Annually, millions of tons of plastic waste are discharged into the environment, polluting water sources, soil, and threatening the existence of both humans and other species. Plastic bags, bottles, and straws take hundreds of years to decompose, posing a significant burden on the environment.

The main reason for this issue stems from the habit of using single-use plastics. For convenience, many people disregard the consequences that plastic waste imposes. Beaches, rivers, and lakes are inundated with waste, many animals die from ingesting or getting trapped in plastic waste. Moreover, microplastics infiltrate the food chain, affecting human health.

Given this situation, each of us needs to be conscious of altering our living habits to minimize plastic waste. We can start by simple actions like bringing cloth bags when shopping, using personal water bottles instead of plastic ones, and reducing single-use plastics. Simultaneously, we should promote recycling activities and proper plastic waste management to minimize negative environmental impacts.

Protecting the environment is not the responsibility of just one person, but a collective duty of everyone. If we join hands and take action now, the Earth will certainly become greener, cleaner, and more beautiful.

These are my opinions on the issue of plastic waste and human responsibility. I eagerly await contributions from teachers and classmates. Thank you!
US Presidential Election

Hello teachers and classmates! I am ..., a student of class ... Today, I would like to share my thoughts on the US Presidential election and its impact on the world.

The U.S. presidential election is one of the most significant political events not only for the United States but also globally. It occurs every four years and draws the attention of millions worldwide. As a leading superpower, the US deeply influences international politics, economy, and security. Thus, the outcome of the US Presidential election can affect diplomatic relations, trade, and global circumstances.

Each election cycle, candidates present different policies regarding the economy, foreign affairs, environment, and defense... These policies not only impact US citizens but also affect other countries, especially the US's trade partners and allies. For instance, trade policies can alter economic agreements, impacting the global market. The US's environmental policies can affect international commitments regarding climate change.

The US Presidential election also exemplifies democratic values and voters' freedom. It's an opportunity for American citizens to elect their national leader, and serves as a lesson on civic rights and political responsibility that many countries can refer to.

In summary, the U.S. presidential election is not only vital for the United States but also has a substantial global impact. We need to closely monitor this event to better understand global conditions and potential future changes.

The above is my presentation on the US Presidential election. I greatly appreciate feedback from teachers and classmates. Thank you!
