What are the 05+ sample 200-word paragraphs expressing feelings about a poem in the 6th-grade Literature curriculum in Vietnam?
Poetry is not just carefully crafted rhythms, but also a voice of the heart, a place to entrust human thoughts and emotions. Every poem can evoke different feelings within us; some leave us deeply moved, others ignite pride or provoke deep contemplation. And when reading a beautiful poem, we live along with the author's emotions, empathizing with the sentiments conveyed in every word.
Below are sample 200-word paragraphs expressing feelings about a poem in the 6th-grade Literature curriculum in Vietnam:
Feelings about the poem "Mother" (Tran Quoc Minh)
Reading the poem "Mother" by Tran Quoc Minh, my heart is filled with immense love and gratitude for my mother. Each gentle verse feels like a lullaby, like the warm embrace of my mother enveloping my childhood. The image of a mother toiling day and night, "raising her child with sweat," is moving beyond words. A mother always sacrifices, patiently loves unconditionally, regardless of her own hardships, without complaint. The line “Mother is a whole sky of love” resonates as a tender reminder for each of us to always cherish our beloved mother. Thinking about the times I've unknowingly caused my mother sorrow, I feel a pang of regret, wishing I could somehow repay that vast ocean of gratitude. The poem is simple but encompasses a world of love, leaving behind sweet and profound echoes within me.
Feelings about the poem "Qua đèo Ngang" (Ba Huyen Thanh Quan)
Reading the poem "Qua đèo Ngang", I felt like entering a melancholic landscape, where a lonely traveler stands between vast heaven and earth, filled with nostalgia. The beginning verses depict a wild, silent scenery, with only flora, fauna, and a few solitary figures. The lines “Crouched beneath the mountain, a few lumberjacks / Scattered beside the river, a market with few houses” evoke a solitary, small feeling amid the expansive space. The scenery is gloomy but perhaps not as sorrowful as the heart, for in this remote place, the memory of home suddenly surges intensely. The verse “Pause and stand still: sky, mountains, water / A fragment of personal affection, just me alone” struck deeply within me—the loneliness that cannot be shared, leaving only oneself with distant memories. The poem makes me empathize with the poet's sentiments, while also fostering a deeper love and appreciation for my homeland, the haven always ready for return.
Feelings about the poem "Nhớ rừng" (The Lu)
The poem "Nhớ rừng" by The Lu stirred within me intense emotions of resentment and a yearning for freedom. The image of a tiger caged in a zoo is not only a vivid picture but a symbolic representation of the national suffering from losing Vietnam's sovereignty. The verses rise like the sorrowful roar of a tiger, mourning its glorious days of ruling the jungle. “I live on in loving memories / Those days of majestic freedom” – that line twists my heart, as I sense the helplessness, the longing for bygone resplendence. The tiger is not merely a tiger, but a portrayal of patriotic souls in a broken nation. The poem echoes with bitter resentment, stirring hearts and fostering a deeper appreciation for the value of freedom and independence.
Feelings about the poem "Đồng chí" (Chinh Huu)
Reading the poem "Đồng chí" by Chinh Huu, I am stirred by the sacred camaraderie among soldiers during the difficult war years. The opening lines are simple and unembellished but filled with heartfelt sentiments: “Your homeland with salty water and acidic fields / My village poor, with stony plowland.” They come from impoverished regions, sharing a common ideal, standing together to protect the nation. The verse “Loving each other, clutching tightly hand in hand” touched my heart—Comradeship needs no flowery words, just a handshake is enough to share warmth during freezing days. This affection is pure and noble, a strength helping them overcome hardships and face danger. Reading the poem, I feel more admiration for the Ho soldiers, deeply grateful for the sacrifices they made for the country.
Feelings about the poem "Bánh trôi nước" (Ho Xuan Huong)
The poem "Bánh trôi nước" by Ho Xuan Huong, though concise, left a profound impression on me about the fate of women in the past. Through the simple image of a floating rice cake, the poet conveys countless emotions. “My body is both white and round” – the opening line is gentle yet encapsulates an entire lifetime. Women in the past, no matter how beautiful or virtuous, could not decide their fate. “Seven up and three down with water and earth” – the line draws a somber feeling, portraying the struggles and instability women endured in feudal society. Yet, despite life's oppressions, they resiliently maintain their integrity: “And I still keep my heart pure.” The poem deepens my respect for Vietnamese women’s resilience and gratifies me for the modern era, where women enjoy greater rights and voices.
