According to Vietnam's Circular 14/2020/TT-BTC, prices of 15 security services continue to be exempt and reduced, specifically as follows:

- Price exemption (no fee) for the following 06 services:

• Application for initial listing;
• Initial online connection services;
• Securities registration services;
• Borrowing and lending securities via VSD’s system;
• Registration as trading member in derivatives;
• Registration as clearing members.

- Discounts for the following 09 services:

• Listing management services for covered warrants;
• Outright transactions on the underlying market;
• Auction and competitive offering;
• Securities depository services;
• Securities transfer services;
• Corporate actions services;
• Derivatives transactions;
• Positions management;
• Margins management.

It can be seen that the continuation of the extension of the exemption and reduction of security service prices in the context of the complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic can be justifiedIt is an appropriate and necessary policy to support and remove difficulties in production and business activities and also contribute to stabilizing the psychology of investors and businesses.

Besides, it should be noted that after December 31, 2021, the service prices in the securities sector applied at the Stock Exchange and the Vietnam Securities Depository Center will be implemented in accordance with Vietnam's Circular 127/2018/TT-BTC.

In addition, based on the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic and the stock market, the Minister of Finance shall consider and promulgate amendments and supplements to service prices in the securities sector in case of necessity.

Vietnam's Circular 30/2021/TT-BTC takes effect from July 1, 2021.
