Ministry of Construction of Vietnam issued Circular No. 04/2021/TT-BXD on instructions for export of minerals used as building materials issued together with the list and technical specifications and indicators of minerals used as building materials for export and the form of report on export of minerals used as building materials.
List on export of minerals used as building materials from August 28, 2021
Specifically, list on export of minerals used as building materials includes:
- White silica sand, yellow molding sand: 04 types;
- Stone slabs: 12 types;
- Stone blocks (block): 03 types;
- Stone sculptures: 05 types;
- Stones used as normal building materials (currently called as building stones);
+ Used for concrete aggregates, road metalling or other purposes: 02 types;
+ Used for embankments, footing, wall construction, sidewalks, road pavements or for other purposes: 04 types;
- Other minerals: 07 types.
(Amending minerals used as building materials transferred abroad for technological analysis, research or testing).
Besides, technical specifications and indicators of some materials are also adjusted, such as:
- Reduce the stone blocks volume from ≥ 0.5 m3 to ≥ 0.4 m3.
- Kaolin used as raw materials for production of building materials or in other industries is worked or processed into products…
In addition, according to the Circular No. 04/2021/TT-BXD, every exporter of minerals shall submit an annual report (or ad hoc report at the request of a competent authority) to the Department of Construction for submission to the People’s Committee of the province (where the exporter conducts export activities) according to the form in the Appendix II hereof before January 15.
The Circular No. 04/2021/TT-BXD takes effect from August 28 2021 and replaces the Circular No. 05/2018/TT-BXD and Circular No. 05/2019/TT-BXD of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam.
