1. Membership criteria of Vietnam Farms and Agricultural Enterprises Association

Members of the Association include full members, associate members and honorary members:

- Official members: Enterprises, entrepreneurs, organizations, and individuals are Vietnamese citizens operating in industries and fields related to farms; and agricultural enterprises in Vietnam, commit to the principles and purposes of the Association, fully meet the criteria specified in Clause 2 of this Article, agree to the Association's Charter, voluntarily submit an application to join the Association. be considered and recognized by the Association to become an official member of the Association.

Official membership criteria:

+ Individual members: Vietnamese citizens who are full 18 years old or older, have full civil act capacity, operate in the field of farms and agricultural enterprises according to the provisions of Vietnamese law; have the conditions to participate in the regular activities of the association; Agreeing to the Association's Charter, voluntarily write an Application to join the Association (according to the Application Form prescribed by the Association).

Organization members: Vietnamese enterprises and organizations that are legally established, operate in the field of agriculture, farms, and agricultural enterprises have the conditions to participate regularly and fully in the Association's activities; voluntarily write an application to join the Association (according to the Application form prescribed by the Association) and attach a copy of the establishment license, establishment decision or valid business registration certificate as prescribed.

+ Each organization that is an official member appoints 01 (one) person to be the representative to act as the focal point to participate in the Association's activities, the representative must work officially at the organization with that legal person status. The representative must have full decision-making authority, clearly stating his full name and position in the application to join the Association; In the case of authorization, the person authorized to act as the representative must have the authority to make a decision, and the principal must be responsible for such authorization. When changing the representative, the member must notify the new representative in writing immediately after changing the representative, send it to the Standing Board of the Association (within 05 days from the date of change of the representative).

- Affiliate members:

+ Vietnamese enterprises and organizations that do not have conditions or are not qualified to become an official member of the Association, operate in the agricultural sector, agree to the Association's Charter, voluntarily join the Association shall be considered and recognized by the Association's Executive Board as an associate member;

+ Joint venture enterprises and enterprises with 100% foreign investment capital (hereinafter referred to as enterprises with foreign elements); legally operating in Vietnam, participating in the Association's activities or contributing to the Association's development, agreeing to the Association's Charter, voluntarily joining the Association shall be considered and recognized by the Executive Board of the Association as associate members.

- Honorary member: Vietnamese citizens and organizations with a high reputation, having a positive influence on the Association's activities and making great contributions to the Association's development, agreeing to the Association's Charter, voluntarily joining the Association shall be considered and recognized by the Association Executive Board as honorary members.

2. Rights of members of Vietnam Farms and Agricultural Enterprises Association

- To have their legitimate rights and interests protected by the Association in accordance with the law.

- To be provided with information related to the Association's activities by the Association, to participate in activities organized by the Association.

- To participate in discussions and decisions on the Association's working policies in accordance with the Association's regulations; to propose opinions to the competent authority on issues related to the field of operation of the Association.

- To attend the General Meeting, stand for election, nominate, and be elected to the Executive Board and the Association's Inspection Committee in accordance with the Association's regulations.

- To be introduced to organizations and citizens to become new members of the Association in accordance with the Association's Charter.

- To be rewarded according to the Association's Charter and regulations of law.

- To receive a membership certificate, membership card.

- To leave the Association when it is deemed that it is impossible to continue being a member.

- Associate members, honorary members enjoy the same rights and obligations as official members, except for the right to vote on matters of the Association and the right to stand for, nominate, and elect to the Executive Board and the Association's Inspection Committee.
