1. Powers of Vietnam Farms and Agricultural Enterprises Association

- Propagate the principles and operational goals of the Association.

- Represent members in relationships related to the Association's purposes, functions, and duties in accordance with the law.

- Protect the legitimate rights and interests of the Association and its members in accordance with the Association's principles and purposes as prescribed by law.

- Participate in programs, projects, research topics, consulting, criticism, and social assessment at the request of state agencies; providing public services on issues in the Association's field of operation in accordance with the law.

- Propose, recommend, and give opinions to the Party and State on undertakings and policies to develop the farm economy and agricultural enterprises. Give opinions on legal documents related to the activities of the Association in accordance with the law. Make recommendations to competent State agencies on issues related to the development of the Association and its fields of operation. Organize activities in the field of farm economy and agricultural enterprises according to the provisions of the law.

- Organize and coordinate activities between Association organizations and members according to the Association's Charter for the common interests of the Association, including conciliation, petitions, complaints, and disputes within the Association according to the regulations of the Law.

- Establish a legal entity under the Association in the field of farms and agricultural enterprises in accordance with the law and report to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the establishment of the legal entity.

- Raise funds for the Association on the basis of membership fees and revenues from business and service activities as prescribed by law to cover operating expenses. Receive legal funding sources from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals according to the provisions of the law. Receive financial support from the State to perform the tasks assigned by the State according to the provisions of the law.

- Join international organizations corresponding to the same field in which the Association operates, sign and implement international agreements in accordance with law after consulting with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and relevant competent agencies shall consider joining the respective international organizations, signing and implementing international agreements.

2. Tasks of Vietnam Farms and Agricultural Enterprises Association

- Comply with the provisions of the law related to the organization and operation of the Association. Organize and operate according to the Association's Charter approved by the Minister of Home Affairs. Not to take advantage of the Association's activities to harm national security, social order, morality, the fine customs and traditions of the nation, or the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations.

- Gather and unite members; organize and coordinate activities among members for the common interests of the Association; strictly implement the principles and purposes of the Association in order to participate in the development of fields related to the Association's activities, contributing to the construction and development of the country.

- Disseminate and foster knowledge for members, guiding them to comply with the laws, regimes, and policies of the State and the Association's Charter, regulations, and rules. Propagate and disseminate information to members about the views and lines of the Party, policies and laws of the State on the development of the farm economy and agricultural enterprises, environmental protection, and sustainable development.

- Represent members to participate in and make recommendations to competent authorities on guidelines and policies related to the Association's field of operation in accordance with law.

- Build and develop the Association stronger and stronger. Encourage members to unite and cooperate to help each other develop farm economies and agricultural enterprises on the basis of experience exchange, dissemination, and application of scientific and technical achievements in order to increase the productivity, quality, and economic efficiency of farms and agricultural enterprises.

- Propagate, disseminate, foster, and train members and farmers to comply with the State's regulations on planning for concentrated production areas, registration of production area codes, standards, quality standards, and good agricultural production practices (GAP), in order to create clean agricultural products, ensure food hygiene and safety, meet the requirements of domestic consumption and export, and protect the ecological environment in accordance with the law.

- Participate in agricultural trade promotion activities; consult on the development of cooperative models; link production, processing, and consumption according to regulations to improve production efficiency and improve income for members and farmers; Advocate for the development of the farm economy and agricultural enterprises; build a value chain to develop clean and high-quality products.

- Participate in coordination with organizations and individuals to carry out research projects, science and technology transfer, and development programs of ministries, branches, and localities in accordance with the law. Cooperate with relevant domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to exchange experiences and support the development of the farm economy and agricultural enterprises in accordance with the law.

- Mediate disputes, settlement of reflections, recommendations, complaints, and denunciations within the Association according to the provisions of law.

- Develop and promulgate professional ethics rules for the Association's activities.

- Manage and use the Association's funding sources in accordance with the provisions of the law. Perform other duties as required by the competent authority.
