1. What is the Vietnam Concrete Association?

Vietnam Concrete Association is a professional social organization of organizations and individuals operating in the field of concrete (including materials, design, production, fabrication of components and equipment, construction, quality control, testing, research, and training).

2. Conditions for joining the Vietnam Concrete Association

- Collective members: Are Vietnamese organizations engaged in production, business, technical consulting, scientific research, and training in the field of concrete, reinforced concrete, and concrete materials throughout the country. Each collective member unit has a representative who is either the head of the unit or a person appointed by the head of the unit. The representative of a collective membership unit is called a "representative member.

- Individual members: Vietnamese citizens are scientists, teaching and training staff, managers, technicians, and entrepreneurs operating in the field of concrete, reinforced concrete, and concrete materials who volunteered to join the Association.

- Conditions for joining the Association: Each unit and individual who wants to become a member of the Association needs to send the Association registration form to join the Association according to the prescribed form. The Executive Board of the Association will consider the decision and notify all members. When the Executive Committee of the Association cannot meet, the Standing Committee of the Association will consider the decision and report to the Executive Board at the nearest meeting.

Members who want to stop operating the Association must send their opinions in writing to the Association. The Executive Board or Standing Committee of the Association will consider and decide when to stop operating the Association of that Member.

- Honorary members: Those who are Vietnamese citizens or foreigners who are not official members of the Association, but have great prestige and have made many contributions to the Association, shall be honored as Honorary Members of the Association by the Association. . Honorary members are not allowed to vote or stand for election to the Executive Committee of the Association
but are invited to attend appropriate activities of the Association and are consulted on other necessary issues in the Association's activities.

3. Rights and obligations of Vietnam Concrete Association

3.1. Obligations of members of Vietnam Concrete Association

- To comply with the Association's Charter and regulations of the General Association of Construction. Implement the resolutions of the General Meeting and the decisions of the Executive Board and the Association's Standing Board. Implement commitments and agreements between members of the Association.

- To participate in Association activities. Solidarity and cooperation to help other members. Propagating and developing new members.

- To protect the honor of the Association and the interests of members before the law.

- To participate in Association activities and pay membership fees according to regulations.

3.2. Benefits of members of Vietnam Concrete Association

- To give opinions to the Standing Board of the Association to consider and make recommendations to the State management authorities on issues under mechanisms and policies in order to protect the legitimate interests of members.

- To be protected by the Association before the law, or to mediate disputes between members. The Association supports solutions in professional activities, production, and business activities.

- To participate in scientific conferences and technical training courses organized by the Association. The Association provides information on the concrete industry through newly issued concrete technical standards and informational publications published by the Association. To participate in the Association's website and publications.

- To attend and vote on resolutions at conferences organized by the Association. To be elected to the Executive Committee of the Association.
